Sterling Bay, in partnership with Chicago Public Library

Sterling Bay, in partnership with Chicago Public Library, proudly celebrated the Grand Opening of the West Loop neighborhood’s first public library branch on Thursday, January 17th with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Chicago’s First Lady, Amy Rule, and Alderman Walter Burnett, Jr.

The opening of the new facility marked the introduction of the City’s 81st branch of the Chicago Public Library system and the infusion of brand new, ultramodern educational amenities — such as a YOUmedia digital lab featuring coding and design software and an on-site recording studio — into the local community.

“Our team at Sterling Bay is honored to provide the West Loop community with a state-of-the-art public library that fosters learning at all age levels and delivers valuable resources to strengthen both individual and neighborhood development,” says Andy Gloor, Managing Principal. “We can’t think of a better way to give back to the community that has so generously supported our company’s growth and vision throughout the years.”
