Sterling Bay Backfills High-Profile Corner Retail Space at 123 N. Wacker with New Just Salad Location
Just Salad, the fast-casual restaurant chain committed to making everyday health and sustainability possible, and Sterling Bay, the hospitality-driven real estate company behind Chicago’s most vibrant spaces and neighborhoods, today announce that the popular health-centric dining concept will expand its downtown presence with a new location in 123 N. Wacker. Reinvigorating the retail space at the corner of Wacker and Randolph, Just Salad will take advantage of the large footprint and adjacent patio and offer on-premise (and to-go) dining.

Since taking over as 123 N. Wacker’s leasing, property and asset management in late 2024, Sterling Bay has built momentum for the amenity-forward office building and secured impactful leases from top to bottom, including Transwestern’s 35,000 SF penthouse suite and now Just Salad’s long-term commitment for the 2,610 SF ground-floor retail space. To date, Sterling Bay has done over 140,000 SF of leasing in the building. Just Salad will join local coffee shop ESPRESSO AND MILK, which occupies the other Wacker Drive retail space and will open for business later this summer, leaving only one remaining retail vacancy fronting Randolph Street.
