Designer Kara Mann takes on the Talbott

Interior designer Kara Mann, 46, is founder and creative director of Kara Mann Design in Chicago and New York, and she has designed a line of furnishings for Baker Furniture in North Carolina. Mann’s renovation of the Gold Coast’s boutique Talbott Hotel debuts May 1.
