Lease propels developer’s plans for Lincoln Park project
Logistics firm C.H. Robinson Worldwide has leased a 207,000-square-foot office building that Sterling Bay plans to build in Lincoln Park, providing the Chicago developer a key first step toward redeveloping a huge riverfront parcel.
C.H. Robinson has signed a 15-year lease to move to the planned three-story building at 1511 W. Webster Ave., on the east bank of the Chicago River, where it plans to relocate about 1,000 employees in late 2018 from a nearby facility, the Eden Prairie, Minn.-based firm said.
