Chicago, IL
2100 North Southport
Sterling Bay has announced plans to build a nine-story mass timber multifamily development at 2100 N Southport Avenue, marking an exciting moment in Chicago’s history as the tallest timber-made building to be constructed since before the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. The structure, designed by Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture (HPA), will feature over 130 residential units with private access to on-site luxury amenities, exposed mass timber details, and thoughtfully curated ground floor retail. Construction on 2100 N Southport is estimated to begin in 2025.
