Sterling Bay’s 333 N Green Receives Certificate of Occupancy

Sterling Bay has announced its receipt of the Certificate of Occupancy for 333 N Green, a 19-story, 553,412-square-foot premiere office and retail building located in the heart of Fulton Market, one of Chicago’s fastest growing neighborhoods.

Having broke ground on 333 N Green in April 2018, the company is now pleased to report that construction has successfully completed in accordance to the original timeline set forth by the developer and its partners when the project was approved by Chicago Plan Commission in February 2018.

Sterling Bay’s 333 N Green Receives Certificate of Occupancy

Chicago developer announces major milestone at creative office and retail building in Fulton Market

CHICAGO – Sterling Bay, one of Chicago’s most active and innovative real estate investment and development firms, has announced its receipt of the Certificate of Occupancy for 333 N Green, a 19-story, 553,412-square-foot premier office and retail building located in the heart of Fulton Market, one of Chicago’s fastest-growing neighborhoods. Issued by Chicago’s Department of Buildings, the Certificate of Occupancy certifies that the property conforms to the requirements of the Chicago Building Code.

Sterling Bay broke ground on 333 N Green in April 2018 and is now pleased to report that construction has been successfully completed in accordance with the original timeline set forth by the developer and its partners when the project was approved by Chicago Plan Commission in February 2018.

With the Certificate of Occupancy in place, tenants are anticipated to begin moving into the space in early 2020. These tenants currently include:

  • WPP – Announced as anchor tenant at the start of the project, the world’s largest advertising company, will occupy over 263,000 square feet across seven floors for its more than 2,000 local employees.
  • EV wavespace – An immersive innovation center created by EV, the big-four accounting giant formerly known as Ernst & Young, EV wavespace will occupy over 40,000 square feet on the 9th floor for its over 200 local employees.
  • Convene – The nation’s leading provider of premier meeting, event, and coworking space to Class A landlords, Convene will occupy more than 95,000 square feet on over 2.5 floors, as well as manage the building’s ultramodern amenity offerings.
  • Flexport – A fast-growing logistics and technology company that has digitized international shipping for nearly 10,000 clients across 109 countries, will occupy 40,000 square feet on the 12th floor for its 200 local employees.

In addition, Sterling Bay will also be relocating its corporate headquarters to 333 N Green in early 2020.

Designed by Gensler and constructed by Power Construction, 333 N Green takes creative office space in Fulton Market to the next level. Featuring large, flexible floor plates and full-service tenant amenities on the 6th and 19th floors, the property offers a private tenant lounge with Grab & Go food service, a full bar, several gaming areas, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a Skydeck offering tenants unbeatable views of Chicago’s world-famous skyline.

In addition to its convenient location near several major public transit hubs, 333 N Green also features four levels of on­site parking uniquely screened behind the property’s mesmerizing ‘kinetic wall’, a facade fabricated by Bruce Walls Systems and wrapped in nearly 100,000 metal ‘flappers’ that gently wave in the wind.
